Best Grilled Vegetarian Options in Atlanta, Georgia

Introduction In Atlanta, some of my favorite dishes involve meat. This includes everything from a juicy hamburger at FIVE Bar and Grill to Mary Mac's Tea Room's chicken pot pie. However, I am always looking for alternatives to meat. Thankfully, the heart of Atlanta is full of great choices for those wanting to eat vegetarian. Below are my three favorite grilled vegetarian options in Atlanta, Georgia. Grilled Cauliflower Steaks Ingredients : 1 large head of cauliflower, stem removed 1/4 cup olive oil 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1/4 teaspoon paprika Instructions: Preheat grill to medium-high heat, about 375-400 degrees F. Cut the cauliflower into 1-inch thick "steaks." You should be able to get 4-5 steaks from 1 large head of cauliflower. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika. Rub the spice mixture all over the cauliflower steaks. Grill for 6-8 minutes per side, or until s...

Spicy Chicken Ramen with Mitsuo

Introduction I love ramen. It's one of my favorite comfort foods and I can eat it all day long. But I don't always have time to go out and get it from my favorite ramen shops, so I like to make my own at home. This is a quick and easy recipe that will give you a great homemade meal in less than 30 minutes! Ingredients 1/2 lb. chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces 1 bundle ramen noodles (I used Mitsuo’s Shoyu Ramen Noodles) 1 tablespoon of oil 1 cup shredded cabbage ½ cucumber, diced 1 large egg boiled and halved lengthwise (optional) Preparing 1/2 lb. chicken breast Slicing 1/2 lb. chicken breast: Place chicken breast in a bowl and add soy sauce. Marinate for at least 30 minutes. You can also marinate in a zip-lock bag for ease of convenience! Be careful not to over-marinate, or else you'll get too much saltiness out of your chicken strips (and we don't want that). Remove the meat from the marinade and pat dry with paper towels before cooking it up! 1 tablespoon of...
